It seems that we can't go more than a few days without some sort of new BlackBerry 10 leak making its way online, and that's a trend that continues today. A new report from BGR contains 100 different BlackBerry 10 screenshots that show several aspects of the new operating system, including the setup, browser, Maps app, voice control and settings. Up above we can see a clear shot of the BlackBerry Z10 smartphone that's part of a tutorial on how to get around BlackBerry 10, and below is a shot of the BlackBerry 10 home screen with a recently used app as well as Setup page with options for Wi-Fi, BlackBerry ID and BlackBerry Messenger.
Along with this batch of screenshots, BGR claims to have been told that RIM is hoping to offer its Blackberry Z10 handset at a price that's lower than the $199 cost that we normally see associated with flagship smartphones. No exact pricing was named in the report.
Finally, the folks at Austrian site Telekom Press have posted a new video comparing the BlackBerry Z10 with an iPhone 5. This is the third Z10 video that the site has shared. In this new clip, the site compares the hardware of both devices and also the software, including a comparison of home screens, notification areas and browsers. There's also a bit showing BlackBerry 10's voice control app going up against iOS 6's Siri.
After initially being announced as BBX way back in October 2011, RIM's new BlackBerry 10 operating system is finally set to star in its own big launch event on Jan. 30. At that shindig, RIM will introduce us to its first two BlackBerry 10 smartphones, expected to be the full-touch Z10 and QWERTY-clad X10. All four major U.S. carriers have already voiced their support for BlackBerry 10, and while there's no word yet on when they'll actually start launching RIM's new smartphones, the fact that AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon have all backed BB10 is exciting news both for RIM and for BlackBerry fans across the U.S. Are any of you ready to pull the trigger on BlackBerry 10 right at launch based on what we've seen of it so far?
