The retailer is currently offering Verizon's Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX HD for $99.99 with a two-year contract for new customers, which is a price that's a full $200 less than what Verizon is asking for the same device. Existing Verizon customers can save some cash, too, as Amazon has priced the DROID RAZR MAXX HD at $149.99 with a contract for upgrade-eligible subscribers on Big Red.
The DROID RAZR MAXX HD features a 4.7-inch 720p display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras and 32GB of built-in storage. Perhaps the most notable feature of the RAZR MAXX HD is its beefy 3,300mAh battery, which is one of the largest available in a smartphone today and makes the MAXX HD a device that's worth checking out for anyone that hates having to stop what they're doing to tether their phone to a power cord for more juice. It's also worth noting that the MAXX HD was updated to Android 4.1 last month, meaning that buyers will immediately have access to Jelly Bean goodies like Google Now's information cards and the smooth operation that Project Butter brings.
