Samsung Galaxy Admire 4G introduced by MetroPCS, available today for $169

MetroPCS today unveiled the latest Samsung handset to join its roster of 4G LTE-capable smartphones. Dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Admire 4G, the device is a follow-up to the original Admire that launched on MetroPCS last year. The Galaxy Admire 4G features a 3.65-inch HVGA display (up from the original Admire's 3.5 incher), a 1GHz processor, 3-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, 1.38GB of internal storage, 2GB microSD card, 1,600mAh battery and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. As one might've been able to figure out by the "4G" part of the Galaxy Admire 4G's name, the handset also includes LTE connectivity.

As far as availability goes, the Galaxy Admire 4G is now ready for purchase on MetroPCS's website for $169. That price tag slots the Galaxy Admire 4G in the lower end of Metro's LTE lineup, and while it's not the cheapest LTE-enabled smartphone that the carrier offers, it's still a 4G device that shouldn't put too much of a hurt on a buyer's wallet. A brief introduction video showing off the Galaxy Admire 4G is available below, as is a link to Metro's official announcement of its new handset.
