It wasn't even a month ago when Samsung announced that the Galaxy Note II had crossed the three million sold mark, and now it appears that the phone/tablet hybrid has hit another sales milestone. Samsung has revealed that worldwide sales of the Note II have now crossed the five million notch in just two months' time. The company also notes that the 5.5-inch device is experiencing even sales in all regions, including Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa.
The Note II is available on multiple carriers here in the U.S., including the big four (Verizon's model hasn't actually launched quite yet, but pre-orders have begun) as well as U.S. Cellular, which certainly ought to help sales of the Note II continue to grow. While the Galaxy Note II still has a ways to go before it'll match the sales of the Galaxy S III, which hit the 30 million milestone earlier this month, the newest Note smartphone is well on its way to reaching the same 10 million mark as the original model, a feat that'll be aided by the holiday season.
