Sony Xperia advance now available in the U.S. in unlocked form

Sony today continued is effort to offer unlocked Xperia smartphones in the U.S., with the latest model to go on sale being the Xperia advance. Introduced earlier this year and known as the Xperia go internationally, the Xperia advance is a ruggedized Android handset with protection against dust and water immersion, including the ability to be submerged in up to 39 inches of water for 30 minutes. The advance's display is also scratch-resistant and has wet finger tracking. The remainder of the Xperia advance's spec list looks like this:
