Google Nexus 10 shown off in set of leaked photos, spec list also shared

What's better than some basic outlines of the unannounced Nexus 10? The actual Nexus 10. That's what the folks at BriefMobile claim to be showing in a set of newly-posted photographs that depict a Nexus and Samsung-branded tablet in the wild. The look of the device lines up nicely with what we saw in a leaked quick start guide yesterday, sporting a black panel around the rear camera, what looks to be speakers on the sides and the aforementioned branding on its backside. When it comes to specs, here's what we're told to expect:

  • 10.1-inch 2560x1600 Super AMOLED display
  • 1.7GHz dual-core Samsung Exynos 5250 processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • 16GB storage, possibly with other options available
  • 5-megapixel rear camera, second front-facing shooter
  • NFC
  • Two front speakers
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

Along with Android 4.2, BriefMobile mentions a few new software features that'll reportedly be appearing with the next version of Jelly Bean. That includes a new Gallery app, an improved Camera app, a new quick settings bar and possibly different user accounts as well. Obviously none of this is officially official until Google makes it so, which is expected to happen on October 29, but the information contained in today's report does seem to line up with what we've been hearing about the Nexus 10 so far. As we've said before, we'll be live at Google's Android shindig on Monday, so keep it locked here for the official news from that event. Until then, you can find several more shots of the Nexus 10 and Android 4.2 over at BriefMobile. Anyone thinking about buying one of these based on the information in today's report?
