Apple said to be working on streaming radio service similar to Pandora

Heads up, music-loving iOS fans, as a new report claims that Apple may be working on a streaming radio service similar to Pandora. According to sources speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Apple is current in talks with record labels over licensing, with the Cupertino firm reportedly working on getting special deals that'd allow more user interactivity than other services. One tipster added that the service would work on devices like the iPhone and iPad as well as Mac computers, and iAds would likely be sprinkled in while in use.

There's no word on exactly when this radio service may launch, but Apple is said to only recently have started negotiations with the record labels, so the sources claim that it may still be some months out. While there are already options for online radio out there, it'd be interesting to see what kind of interactivity and features Apple is aiming to include in its own offering thanks to its potential deals with the labels. Some possible restrictions that Apple could be working to avoid are for things like skipping songs to frequently or playing a particular song too often. For now we'll just have to wonder what Apple may have up its sleeve and wait for more details to come out. How many of you use an online radio service like Pandora?
