Lenovo announces a trio of Android tablets, all running Ice Cream Sandwich

The IFA 2012 product announcements just keep on coming. This time it's Lenovo making some news, as the company has announced a trio of Android-powered tablets at the Berlin show. The three slates are actually all ones that we've gotten peeks at before, but it appears that Lenovo has decided to make them nice and official at IFA 2012. First up is the IdeaTab S2110, a device with a 10.1-inch 1280x800 IPS display and 1.5GHz dual-core APQ8060A processor. The S2110 is also compatible with an optional keyboard dock that Lenovo says will double the battery life (up to 20 hours) and offers full-size USB and SD slots. Other S2110 specs include 5-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, 1GB RAM, 16GB/32GB storage and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Moving on down to a device with a slightly smaller screen, the IdeaTab A2109's 9-inch touchscreen features a resolution of 1280x800. Buried inside the A2109's body is a 1.2GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, and on the outside there's a pair of cameras (3-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front). The A2109 also includes "up to 16GB of storage" and a microSD slot. Android 4.0 is the OS powering the whole show.

Finally, the IdeaTab A2107 is the smallest of the bunch. It packs a 7-inch 1024x600 display, microSD slot, FM radio and the option of a Wi-Fi model or a 3G-enabled flavor. Like its two IdeaTab brothers, the A2107 is running Android 4.0 ICS.

Like what you see in Lenovo's new tablets? If so, I've got some good news, as the company says that the S2110 and A2109 are now available for purchase. The S2110 is available on Lenovo's site for $399, with the price increasing to $499 if you want the keyboard dock included. Meanwhile, the A2109 is being sold at Best Buy for $299. Folks interested in the 7-inch A2107 will have to wait a bit longer to open their wallet, as Lenovo says that that model will be released later in 2012. Once we get a more concrete launch window, we'll pass it along.
