Samsung Galaxy S III slips into U.S. Cellular's internal system

While there haven't yet been any carriers that've stepped forward to announce that they'll be offering the Samsung Galaxy S III here in the U.S., that hasn't stopped the rumor mill from coming up with some possibilities. Today we can add another to the group, as an image reportedly from U.S. Cellular's internal systems shows several entries for the Galaxy S III, complete with the model number designation "R530." There are listings for both blue and white versions of the 16GB Galaxy S III. Unfortunately, there aren't details pertaining to launch or pricing to be found.

U.S. Cellular has already been home to variants of the original Galaxy S and the Galaxy S II, so it makes sense that the carrier would also get the chance to add the Galaxy S III to its roster. Back in late December, we saw the Galaxy S II appear in U.S. Cellular system entries similar to the ones that the Galaxy S III is showing up in now, and then the USCC GSII launched a few months later. Whether or not the Galaxy S III will follow a similar pattern remains to be seen, but those of you in the market for a new high-end Android phone on U.S. Cellular may want to hold off on making a purchase for now.
