HTC Desire C introduced with 3.5-inch display and Android 4.0

After making a few early appearances online in the form of a handful of leaked photos, the HTC Desire C has been made officially official this morning. When you first lay eyes on the Desire C you'll be greeting by a 3.5-inch 320x480 touchscreen, and flipping the device around will reveal a 5-megapixel camera. Buried inside it is a 600MHz processor, NFC, 4GB storage, 512MB RAM and a 1,230mAh battery powering the whole package. You'll also find Android 4.0 beneath Sense 4 and Beats Audio support loaded up on the Desire C.

So far it's been announced that the Desire C will be debuting next month and will be hitting several different U.K. carriers, including Three and Orange U.K, the latter of which will offer the device for £169.99 (about $273) on Pay As You Go. There's no word yet on when or if we'll see the Desire C make its way stateside, but it's certainly a possibility, especially since the Wildfire S (which the Desire C looks like an upgraded version of) hit a few different U.S. carriers. The Desire C will be available in the U.K. in black and white, and a red model will also be available for international markets. You can find a shot of all three colors below, as well as a quick introductory video and HTC's official announcement.
