  • New panoramic camera mode
  • Enhanced Gallery media viewer
    • Direct SD card access + photo editing tools
  • Exclusive “Small Apps’ for multi-tasking
    • Calculator, Browser, Remote Control
    • Move to screen edge for reduced clutter
  • New Home Screen actions
    • Drag icons together to create folders
    • Add names to folders
  • Enhanced web browser
    • Switch from mobile to desktop web sites
    • Save pages for offline viewing

Sony has posted a brief video demonstrating the new features packed into the Tablet S's ICS update, so if you'd prefer to see the aforementioned goodies in action, check out the clip below. The company also said that anyone that buys a Tablet S between now and May 12th will receive a $50 instant rebate (knocking the 16GB model to $349 and the 32GB version to $449) and a free cradle for the device. There's no mention of the Tablet P upgrade in Sony's announcement, but the device is slated to receive ICS, so owners of the dual-screened device just need to sit tight for now. Any of you out there with a Tablet S already have the Android 4.0 update installed?
