If you count yourself among the number of folks whose smartphone weapon of choice is a Motorola DROID Bionic, you'll be glad to hear that a new update for your handset is in the works. That's according to a report out of Droid-Life, which claims that the new software is currently making its way to Motorola's testers and that it features the build number 5.9.904. Just like the previous DROID Bionic update that rolled out back in February, this one's meant to perform some maintenance the Motorola-made device. No, it's not Ice Cream Sandwich, but we do know that Android 4.0 will eventually be making its way to the Bionic. Now it's just a question of when Motorola and Verizon will unwrap the Bionic's ICS treat. As for this 5.9.904 update, Droid-Life suggests that it could be a couple of weeks before we common folk get our mitts on the official release.
