Verizon first introduced its LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 way back at CES back at the beginning of January, but at the time there was no mention of when the device would be launching, and we've yet to hear a peep about the device from either Samsung or Verizon since then. Thankfully a new leak has surfaced to provide us with some possible release information on the 4G LTE tablet. An image purportedly showing Verizon's equipment guide has been sent to PhoneArena, listing the Galaxy Tab 7.7 as arriving on March 1st. Pricing for the Verizon Tab 7.7 is reportedly going to be set at $499.99 with a two-year contract.
The 4G LTE Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 for Verizon features specs similar to those found on the Wi-Fi-only model, meaning you're looking at a 7.7-inch 1280x800 Super AMOLED Plus display and 1.4GHz dual-core processor, and the slate's body measures in at 7.9mm thick. Verizon's Tab 7.7 sounds like a respectable option for folks in the market for an LTE-connected tablet, but its alleged $500 price tag may be a little tough for some to swallow. Of course, all of this is still a rumor, so for now you may want to just use a pencil when circling next Thursday on your calendar.
