Verizon today announced some of the deals that it'll have on offer for all the bargain-hungry shoppers this weekend, which includes discounts on the Motorola DROID 3, LG Revolution, and XOOM. That's not all that Verizon tucked into the press release, though, as the carrier also confirmed the existence of the red HTC DROID Incredible 2 that leaked out late last week. The red Incredible 2 will be available online on November 24th, 25th, and 28th for free with a two-year contract. Those of you that prefer a more traditional brick and mortar experience will be able to grab one in store only on November 25th for free after a $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract. Some of the other deals that Verizon is planning for this weekend include:
- Motorola DROID 3: $149.99 after $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract. (Nov. 24th-28th)
- LG Revolution: Available online on Nov. 24th, 25th, and 28th for $49.99 with two-year contract. Available in stores at "holiday pricing" after $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract only on Nov. 25th.
- Pantech Breakout: $49.99 after $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract. (Nov. 24th-28th)
- Motorola XOOM: Available online on Nov. 24th, 25th, and 28th for $199.99 with two-year contract. Available in stores at "promotional pricing" only on Nov. 25th.
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 7-inch: $149.99 after $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract (Nov. 24th-28th)
Verizon will also be offering the following devices for free after $50 mail-in rebate and two-year contract: LG Enlighten, Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, Samsung Intensity II, LG Cosmos 2 and Verizon USB551L USB modem. Overall it sounds like Big Red's got some decent deals on tap for folks in the market for a new device, the highlight of which may be that snazzy red Incredible 2 that'll be available for free with a two-year commitment. Rebates on eligible devices will be in the form of a debit card that can be used as cash anywhere debit cards are accepted. Customers purchasing smartphones will need to subscribe to a voice plan beginning at $39.99 and a data plan beginning at $30 monthly access for 2 GB of data.
Facebook and foursquare check in
Customers who visit a Verizon Wireless Communications Store between Nov. 25 and 27 and check in via Facebook® or foursquare will receive a $30 discount off a Jawbone® Icon™ Bluetooth® headset, regularly priced at $99.99. Once checked in, customers will be directed to a discount code on their device and will only need to show a Verizon Wireless representative the code to redeem the discount.
