Looks like the T-Mobile tablet train is growing again. T-Mobile just officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, a device that, you guessed it, is packing a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024x600. Most of the Wi-Fi-only Tab 7.0 Plus's specs are still present in the Magenta-flavored model, meaning you can to find a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 3-megapixel camera, 720p video capture, 2-megapixel shooter around front, 16GB of built-in storage, microSD card slot, and Android 3.2 Honeycomb beneath Samsung's custom TouchWiz skin. Of course, T-Mobile's variant is also packing HSPA+ connectivity for all of your on the go tablet-y needs. Expect the Tab 7.0 Plus to hit T-Mobile on November 16th for $249.99 with a $50 mail-in rebate, two-year contract, and 20 monthly payments of $10 each.
T-Mobile's also adding both the 7-inch SpringBoard and 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab 10.1 to its Android tablet lineup, meaning folks on Magenta in the market for a new slate are suddenly getting a lot of new choices after a bit of a new device-less drought. The Tab 7.0 Plus could be a good option for folks that want the portability of a 7-inch tablet but would prefer Sammy's TouchWiz UI over straight Honeycomb. So, anyone think that the T-Mobile Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus might be worth a purchase?
