Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus put up for pre-order, pricing starts at $399.99

Late last month Samsung introduced us to the latest member of its Galaxy Tab family, the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, but the company made no mention of the slate's U.S. launch date or its price tag. Fast forward to about a week and a half later and we still don't know much about the former, but the latter is a different story. Today retailer J&R put both the 16GB and 32GB versions of the Tab 7.0 Plus on its website for $399.99 and $499.99, respectively. As of this writing the 16GB model is available for pre-order but the 32GB variant is listed as being out of stock.

For those that'd like a spec refresher, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is packing a 7-inch 1024x600 LCD display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 3-megapixel camera in back, 2-megapixel shooter around front, 720p video capture, 1GB RAM, 21Mbps HSPA+, 4,000mAh battery, and Android 3.2 beneath Samsung's custom TouchWiz UI. Sounds like a pretty respectable replacement to the OG Samsung Galaxy Tab to me. Now we just need some details on when the Tab 7.0 Plus will be launching. How about it, Samsung?
