Remember yesterday how I said that the Apple rumor mill was kicking into high gear now that the Let's Talk iPhone event is right around the corner? Yeah, this is more evidence of that. Late last night images purportedly from Foxconn's Brazilian factory made their way online, showing the front panels of an iPhone codenamed "N90A." This version of the iPhone 4 is expected to be the cheaper, low-end device that's unveiled alongside whatever new iPhone(s) that Apple shows off on Tuesday. There aren't a lot of concrete details known about this iPhone, although the source says that the devices "are basically ready to be delivered" and that they "will have less capacity and is cheaper." The fact that the handset in question features the codename N90A, which is similar to the original iPhone 4's N90 codename, suggests that there likely won't be many changes in this new iPhone 4.
Apple generally releases a cheaper, lower-capacity version of its last-gen iPhone alongside its new iteration each year, so it's not a surprise to see that the Cupertino firm is prepping a new version of the iPhone 4 to replace the aging (and I mean aging) iPhone 3GS.
