Pantech Breakout tipped to arrive on September 22nd, user guide leaks

Details on the 4G-enabled Pantech Breakout have been trickling out over the past few weeks, but today it seems that we've hit the mother lode. The folks at Droid-Life have posted up a document that not only reveals the Breakout's launch date — September 22nd — but also the handset's full spec sheet. We've touched a bit on the Breakout's feature list before, but to recap, we're looking at a phone with a 4-inch 800x480 display, 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, 720p video capture, VGA front-facing shooter, 1GB built-in storage, 512MB RAM, 1,500mAh battery, and Android 2.3 beneath Pantech's custom UI.

Also available today is the Breakout's user guide, which you download right here. Not only does the manual give us a peek at Pantech's Android skin, but it even explains how to properly hold the Breakout when using it as a phone. (Protip: don't even think about wearing metal accessories on your hand while trying to make a call.)

As one can probably tell from the list of specs, the Breakout isn't going to be quite as high-end a device as something like the DROID Bionic, but the good news here is that Verizon will (hopefully) slap the Breakout with a price tag that'll be easy on the wallet. If Pantech and Verizon's new LTE handset is indeed launching on September 22nd, we should hear something official by the middle of next week. Stay tuned.
