Are you one of the folks eagerly anticipating the arrival of the HTC Vigor while plugging up your ears and shouting "La-la-la-la-la" to ignore all of the Motorola DROID Bionic noise? If so, you'll be glad to know that the Vigor has earned a stamp of approval from the ol' Federal Communications Commission, which means that the HTC-made handset is one step closer to being on store shelves and in your pocket. There's not really any new information to be found in the Vigor's FCC filing, but the paperwork does confirm that it'll include support for CDMA, EV-DO, and Verizon LTE. So there's that.
Late last month we were finally treated to our first sneak peek at the HTC Vigor, a device which looks quite a bit like its DROID Incredible 2 brother. As far as specs go, there's nothing confirmed just yet — not a surprise since, you know, the phone itself isn't even official — but the rumor mill has claimed that the Vigor could feature a 4.3-inch 1280x720 display and 1.5GHz dual-core processor. Anyone out there thinking about pulling the trigger on a Vigor (rhyming is fun) based on what we've seen/heard of the device so far?
