AmazonWireless Freedom to Choose video contest lets you get in front of the camera

As I'm sure you've noticed if you're an avid PhoneDog reader — and why wouldn't you be? — we post a lot of videos on the site. Be it a review, Dogfight, or some other kind of clip, rarely a day goes by without a video from Aaron or Sydney. If you've ever watched one of the clips and thought to yourself "By golly, I'd like to give that a shot," now's your chance.

AmazonWireless has announced its "Freedom to Choose" video contest, giving users like you a chance to produce a video and not only win cash prizes, but also have your clip featured on Amazon's website as well as its Facebook and Twitter feeds. All you need to do is create a 60-second video on AmazonWireless and how it makes the process of shopping for a new smartphone easy and pain-free. Submissions are encouraged to be funny, but should also focus on the aspects of AmazonWireless that makes searching for a new phone or plan simple, like a great selection and prices that can save you money.

After the submission period wraps up on September 28th, a panel of judges — which your pals at PhoneDog just so happen to be a part of along with the folks from Android Police and Android and Me — will select six winning videos based on criteria like "Demonstrating the value of AmazonWireless" and "Inventive storyline." There will also be two winning clips chosen by a community of users like you. Winners will be announced on or after October 6th.

So there you have it folks! If you're thinking about entering the contest, and you definitely should be, then be sure to read over the full list of rules and requirements right here. In fact, go ahead and read over them a couple of times. We wouldn't want your Spielbergian effort disqualified because of a small rule infraction, right? After you've done that, get to shooting! We can't wait to see what you guys can crank out.
