Samsung Hercules, HTC Ruby, LG Flip II for T-Mobile all caught on camera [UPDATED]

Heads up, T-Mobile customers: a new batch of photos showcasing some upcoming Magenta smartphones has made its way online on this lazy Sunday afternoon, so you may want to put down that frosty beverage for a moment and pay attention. First up we've got the Samsung Hercules, a device whose photo we were first treated to last Friday. This time, though, we've gotten a straight-on look at the T-Mobile-bound handset as well as its 4.5-inch 480x800 Super AMOLED display. Other rumored specs for the Hercules include a 1.2GHz Qualcomm processor, 8-megapixel camera with flash, 1080p video capture, front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 16GB ROM, NFC support, 42Mbps HSPA+, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. We've been told to expect this herculean handset in late September.

Next up we've got the HTC Ruby. Originally spotted in the reflection of an HTC Flyer late last month, the folks at Pocketnow think that the Ruby looks like a bit of a mashup between an HTC Sensation 4G and a myTouch 4G, an assessment with which I'd have to agree. Unfortunately, there's not much else known about the Ruby besides what we can glean from the photo below.

Rounding out the leaked T-Mobile handset trio is the LG Flip II, which we first got a peek at back in June. This mystery handset features a sliding landscape QWERTY keyboard, although unlike most other sliders this one features a secondary display smack dab in the middle of the keys. Other features of the Flip II are still up in the air, although we've heard that it could be launching as soon as September 14th.

There you have it. Looks like a pretty good haul of leaked photos for a weekend, no? Probably the most anticipated device of the bunch is Samsung's Hercules and its gigantic display, which I have to say is shaping up to be a pretty sharp-looking little device. Of course, the downside to getting an early peek at the Hercules and these other two devices is that it'll likely be at least another month before we're able to get our own grubby paws on them. Such is the life of a smartphone fanatic, am I right?

UPDATE: And just in case this dose of Hercules wasn't enough for you, our pals at TmoNews have gotten a hold of even more shots of the device. The photos reveal that the Hercules's model number is SGH-T989 and, as you can see in the photo below, its definitely sporting a "Galaxy S II" tattoo on its backside. The source of the images says that the screen is definitely a 4.5-incher and that the Hercules is "fast, fast and fast." Sounds pretty great so far. Be sure to click on over to this page for even more snapshots of the Hercules in the wild.
