Motorola XOOM 4G is Verizon's mystery Honeycomb tablet?

Remember that mystery Verizon Honeycomb tablet that we told you about yesterday? In case you hadn't heard, the ad that was made private yesterday is now public. Being able to actually view the clip hasn't helped us to determine exactly what the XOOM-like device could be, but the folks at Android Central claim to know just what the black slab is. According to the site, the slate in question is the Motorola XOOM 4G, a tweaked version of the OG XOOM with 4G LTE connectivity built in that's currently being tested by Verizon. Besides the inclusion of LTE, Android Central thinks that the XOOM 4G may be slightly slimmer and lighter and may even pack a microSD card slot. Unfortunately, it's not clear when or even if the XOOM 4G will make it to market, as the device is reportedly not a done deal just yet. Oh, and as for the original XOOM's 4G LTE upgrade? It's still coming, so don't get upset just yet, XOOM-ers.

If the XOOM 4G is indeed the real deal, the device comes as a bit of a surprise considering all of the hype that the original XOOM got when it launched back in February. Still, a thinner and lighter XOOM with LTE built-in is a pretty tantalizing prospect as long as it arrives in the near future for a reasonable price point. What do you all think of the possibility of the XOOM 4G? Do any of you that passed on the first XOOM think that this updated model sounds enticing?
