ViewSonic's ViewPad 7x leaks with a 7-inch display and Honeycomb in tow

Most of the Honeycomb tablets we've seen so far have been a tad on the large side, like the 10.1-inch Motorola XOOM and the nearly 9-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. If you prefer your slate to come in a more portable size, you may want to check out the ViewSonic ViewPad 7x, which was leaked by the folks at Pocket-lint and may officially debut later this month. Reportedly set to sit above, not replace, the company's ViewPad 7, the ViewPad 7x is said to feature a 7-inch display, dual-core Tegra 2 processor, front and rear cameras, HSPA+ connectivity, DLNA and HDMI support, and the tablet-centric Honeycomb OS. It's rumored that the 7x could launch sometime in June, although there's no word on how much it'll cost when it does.

Although the details on ViewSonic's ViewPad 7x are still a bit sparse, the fact that it's got a 7-inch screen size and is running Honeycomb and not Froyo like its predecessor could make it a pretty desirable little device. Of course, that desirability could change once we learn more info about the 7x like how much it'll cost, but thankfully it doesn't sound like we'll be waiting long to see the tablet officially revealed. Anyone interested?
