Nokia Astound (T-Mobile) Gallery

Sure, the talk of the town is that AT&T and T-Mobile will be getting friendly in the next few months (pending FCC approval, of course), but that doesn't stop the nation's fourth largest wireless carrier from launching new devices.  In a sign that it's business as usual until the ink is on the paper, Nokia and T-Mobile announced the Astound at a press event this evening at CTIA 2011 in Orlando.

Americans may love their brand names, but the proof is in the pudding, and under the hood, this is nothing more than the Nokia C7-00 that was announced at Nokia World last year, save for a few changes with the keyboard, and web browser.  It offers an 8-megapixel camera, front-facing camera with Qik for video calling, and a slightly revised version of Symbian^3 with the usual T-Mobile applications.  It'll launch on April 6th for $79.99 with a two-year agreement and mandatory data plan.

Take a look at the astounding Astound (couldn't resist) in the gallery below, and hit the comments with your thoughts!  Can Symbian hold it together for one more US launch?
