AT&T: HTC Inspire 4G isn't capable of HSUPA

The HTC Inspire 4G has been available for around a week now, and while downloads on the device are just as speedy as expected, some users have noticed that upload rates aren't quite what one might expect. The explanation? AT&T says that while the Inspire does feature HSDPA (high speed downloads) the handset simply isn't HSUPA (high speed uploads) capable.

While I'm sure that the lack of HSUPA on the Inspire isn't going to be a deal breaker for most customers, it's still kind of a bummer that the feature isn't supported (it was absent from the Captivate, as well). Still, with a 4.3-inch display and $99 price tag, the Inspire is a pretty tough Android to say "No" to. You just may want to use that leftover cash to pick up an extra battery or two with it.
