HTC Mozart arriving on T-Mobile's shelves in the near future?

The Windows Phone 7-powered HTC Mozart starred in a quite a few leaks last year, but ultimately ended up falling off the radar without any sort of U.S. launch. That may finally be changing, though, if the sources speaking to TmoNews are to be believed. Those tipsters claim that the Mozart will be hitting Magenta's shelves "really soon," although no specific date has been mentioned just yet. If you need a refresher on the Mozart's specs, which would be understandable considering how long it's been since we've heard about it, they are as follows: 3.7-inch 800x480 display, 1GHz Snapdragon core, 512MB RAM, 576MB ROM, 8 megapixel camera with Xenon flash and 720p video capture, and a body made from one piece of anodized aluminum, which will give it a feel similar to the G2. TmoNews' sources say that when the device is launched, it may come in 8GB and 16GB varieties.

As of this article, T-Mobile only has two Windows Phone 7 devices (and only one if you don't count the Venue Pro, which isn't actually sold by T-Mo), so the Mozart will make a great addition to Magenta's lineup. It might be nice if the Mozart had a physical keyboard, just so customers that want a WP7 phone with a QWERTY didn't have to order from Dell or Microsoft, but it's still a good device without a keyboard. We'll keep you updated on the Mozart's T-Mobile arrival as we learn more, but in the mean time, check out our hands-on with the device below.
