100 iPad and Tablet Sweepstakes cool facts

The 100 iPad and Tablet Sweepstakes is such an exciting thing for PhoneDog, we want to share more cool facts about our January 17th event.  In another post yesterday we answered some frequently asked questions about the giveaway.  The questions and answers can be found here.

Cool Facts - 100 iPad and Tablet Sweepstakes

• We are funding the purchase of all the giveaway tablets ourselves, meaning we don't have a sponsor.
• Your chances to win a tablet in the contest is 1/5000 and lower depending on how many entries you receive.
• One (1) additional tablet is added to the contest for every 5000 page LIKES and entries we receive across our family of network sites i.e. phonedog.com, tmonews.com, droiddog.com, todaysiphone.com, and our OnePawBandit and WinFreePrizes facebook pages.  Telling your friends not only can increase your chances of winning, but will add more tablets to the pot.
• We dropped the Super Bowl Grand Prize and added more tablets to the sweepstakes because our audience poll showed 82% to 18% that you would prefer to choose from an Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, or Blackberry Playbook.  For more information, check out http://bit.ly/100ipadtabletsweeps
• In order to make the drawing more transparent and fun for our fans, we decided to provide all entrants with ticket numbers for each entry.  Similar to a lottery, you’ll match up your ticket numbers to the winning numbers chosen during our LIVE broadcast drawings starting on January 17th at 8pm ET and seen at http://bit.ly/PhoneDogLive.  The winning ticket number will also be posted on our family of websites and with several notifications on where to look them up on our facebook pages
• The winning numbers will be drawn using the services provided by random.org.  Being able to watch the drawing LIVE at http://bit.ly/PhoneDogLive and having ticket numbers assigned to each entry should provide comfort to our entrants that this contest is fair to everyone.
• Each person that enters the sweepstakes can immediately receive 7 ticket numbers, just by liking each network site page, and choosing a prize.  You can further increase your odds by inviting your facebook friends to enter as well using the INCREASE YOUR CHANCES tab at http://bit.ly/pdogsweepsapp.  For each accepted friend, you’ll further increase your odds of odds of winning.  You can view all additional entries under the MY ENTRIES tab on the app as well.
