DROID 2 Global launch now set to kick off on November 29th?

A few days ago, we spotted a leak showing that the DROID 2 Global would be arriving on November 11th, and we thought that the D2G launch rumor saga had finally come to an end.  As is often the case when dealing with leaks, though, it turns out that that date may not have been correct.  According to a freshly leaked screenshot from Verizon, the DROID 2 Global won't be launching in stores until November 29th.  If you just can't wait that long, the image also shows that you'll be able to get a D2G via Direct Fulfillment beginning November 9th, meaning that a store rep will be able to order one for you starting tomorrow.

While this launch date is still a rumor at this point, I'm surprised that Verizon and Motorola would want to wait until the 29th to actually have the DROID 2 Global in stores.  It may not be a completely new device, but they're still missing out on Black Friday and the potentially big sales that come with the busiest shopping day of the year.  We'll just have to wait and see how the D2G saga pans out, but if Direct Fulfillment does begin tomorrow, we should be hearing from Verizon any minute now.
