BlackBerry Style 9670 promo materials begin arriving at Sprint stores

A recent rumor claimed that the upcoming BlackBerry 9670 Style/Oxford would be launching on October 31st, and now that date is looking even more accurate than before.  Marketing materials for the Style have popped up at at least one Sprint store, proudly exclaiming that there will be "launch events" in the coming weeks.  The flyer refers to the device as Style, like we thought it would be all along, so that recently leaked Sprint doc with the Oct. 31st launch date may just have been a little old.  It looks like the Style will be a Sprint exclusive (at least initially), and will also be the first CDMA device to feature RIM's new BlackBerry 6 OS.

The BlackBerry Style 9670 may not be the most anticipated device ever, but I'm sure that RIM will be able to move more than a few units.  After all, it's a pretty unique device: it's sporting a full QWERTY keyboard and optical trackpad in a clamshell form factor that's basically non-existent in the smartphone realm.  We still don't know the official launch date or price of the Style, but if Sprint stores are prepping for its arrival and receiving promo materials, it's probably a safe bet that we'll be seeing it sooner rather than later.
