Tomorrow Apple will be holding a special event starting a 1 PM EST. Those of us that can't make it to the event itself usually rely on liveblogs from folks like our own Noah Kravitz (who will be liveblogging tomorrow's event right here), but Apple is changing things up for tomorrow's event, opting to livestream the whole thing on their website. Unfortunately, it sounds like you'll need a Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod in order to catch the event. According to Apple, viewing the livestream "requires either a Mac running Safari on Mac OS X version 10.6 Snow Leopard, an iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 3.0 or higher, or an iPad." It's kind of strange that Apple is requiring a Mac or iDevice in order to watch the event tomorrow, but I suppose that's their way of promoting their own products. There may be some way to get your Windows or Linux-based browser to spoof itself and make Apple's site think you're running OS X, but you could always just check out a liveblog instead (like ours, which can be found right here.)
