Official: G2 to be first HSPA Plus device on T-Mobile

If you've been holding out on upgrading your phone because you just have to have that blazing fast HSPA+ device, well, hold on for a little longer because it looks as if it's not too terribly far away.  This morning, T-Mobile officially announced (via Twitter) that the G2 with Google (an Android phone if you weren't reading between the lines) will be the first HSPA+ capable device to launch on their network.  "The T-Mobile G2 will deliver tight integration with Google services and break new ground as the first smartphone designed to run at 4G speeds on our new HSPA+ network. In the coming weeks, we’ll share more details about the G2 and offer exclusive first access to current T-Mobile customers."  Of course, we don't have any other official details, such as specs, launch time frame or pricing, but feel free to head over to T-Mobile's G2 page and sign up to "stay in the loop."  And you can be sure we'll keep you posted as we get more information as well.  Who's getting excited about HSPA+ on Magenta?!
