Hey, remember that chick who played that role in that movie? What was her name? If you're like me, you find yourself asking that very question time and time again, and what do you do to find the answer? You go to IMDb.com, of course! If you're not a movie enthusiast (what's wrong with you?!), IMDb is the Internet Movie Database and holds the answers to just about any movie question you could be asking yourself, including popular quotes from movies you love. So, why am I talking about this on a Mobile Technology website? Because IMDb has just released and App for Android.
In December of last year IMDb announced the release of the IMDb app for the iPhone, and now just over six months later, the company is launching a similar app for Android. According to Phandroid, the app contains "the cast list, user reviews, critic reviews, trailers, search features, MOVIEmeter, Top Lists, images, and everything you could possibly think of accessing on the full site." As you may have guessed by now, I've long been a fan of the IMDb website and am pretty excited to hear that it's now available for Android. I haven't tried it out just yet, but when I do I'll be sure to tell you how it goes. Any other movie geeks plan on trying out IMDb for Android? Let us know!
