Samsung Galaxy S teaser site live, could be headed to Verizon

As teasers for the Samsung Galaxy S keep appearing, it seems we're getting closer to the device's U.S. launch.  We received a promo box for the device that includes a URL for a part of the Samsung site that recently went live.  The page gives little information on the device except that it will be "coming this Summer" (TmoNews has heard that the T-Mobile Galaxy S will be launching July 21st).  There is also a place where users can sign up to receive more information when it becomes available.

Continuing with the Galaxy S, it seems that a user named "bill23" at Howard Forums has said that Samsung is working around the clock to bring a version of the device to Verizon.  The user went on to say that we should be seeing some leaked information about the Verizon Galaxy S soon.  As of now, the Galaxy S is headed to T-Mobile and likely AT&T, so a Verizon version would come as a bit of a surprise.  Still, Verizon has been committed to Android as of late, so it may be possible.  We're sure that if the Galaxy S is launched on Verizon, it would be priced competitively with the DROID Incredible.  If bill23 is to be believed, some leaks should be along soon, so keep an eye on PhoneDog for Galaxy S news.  Would you pick up a Galaxy S on Verizon if it was made available?
