Verizon V CAST Video now available for Android

While we're sure that there are several ways to entertain yourself with an Android device, owners of an Android phone on Verizon just got another entertainment source added to the list.  Verizon announced today that its V CAST Video services are now available on all of its Android phones.  The service will run users $10 per month on top of an existing data plan and provides 230 full-length programs from over 40 different providers.  Verizon said that Univision Interactive Media will be providing live streams of all 64 of its FIFA World Cup 2010 games, although they will be in Spanish.  Still, with the inclusion of college football and basketball as well as NHL hockey, the V CAST Video service is an interesting proposition for a sports fan who needs their fix on the go.  There are also shows from ABC, NBC, FOX, A&E, and Lifetime if you aren't a sports fanatic.  If you're interested in checking out V CAST Video, you can download the app right now in the Android Market.
