About a month ago we brought you a story about how Palm had planned to deploy a team of employees to hand out free accessories to owners of a Pre or Pixi, and today we finally saw Palm's team in the wild. Pre Central has received a tip from a reader Joseph who ran into Palm's team in Times Square. After seeing the people in Palm t-shirts, he whipped out he Pre Plus and received a free Palm Leather Slide case as well as a t-shirt that says "Life moves fast. Don't miss a thing." After receiving his goodies, the Palm team shot a quick video with Joseph where he talked about his love for Palm's webOS.
Joseph said that he saw around 30 Palm employees wandering around Times Square giving out gifts. Apparently the employees will be hitting eight more cities giving out accessories for your Pre or Pixi, as well as other goodies, so keep an eye out for Smart cars with the Palm logo as well as people walking around with a Palm t-shirt on.
