Tied in to the marketing for the September 25th release of Fame - a movie based on the early 80s television series and long-standing Broadway musical - LG has launched a website where you can upload your own Fame-inspired music videos or vote on the entries of others. You don't even have to write a song - just download the Fame theme and lip-sync, square dance, or pop-and-lock your persona into the hearts and minds of voters.
If shaking it for $50,000 isn't your thing, you might as well vote - it makes you eligible for prizes as well; like free LG phones. But I think you might have a decent chance. At the time of my writing this post, there are a whopping three entries, one of which took serious effort. Someone's gotta win this thing. I might even turn on the camera for somewhere between thirty seconds and two minutes and get a little goofy myself. Where'd I put my saddle shoes?
