Yes, Brix is the brain child of Seokwon Hong a cell phone designer with what can only be described as an intriguing concept. The phone is actually void of all buttons and utilizes the entire flat surface as the LCD touch screen. That in itself is not new, but the fact you can string multiple Brix together to increase the overall screen size and share files between the devices is definitely innovative
Below you can see how several different configurations can greatly enhance the user experience. With an iPhone costing $600, I can just imagine how much just one Brix phone would cost never mind the extra LCD's too get the full effect. Maybe they will offer a package deal ? buy one Brix get 5 LCD screens for $X? We can only hope.
