If you love food as much as I do, you will be ecstatic over the news that we can now receive recipes that are sent to us through our cell phones! Many food websites such as Epicurious, The Food Network and All recipes have made our lives just a little happier by setting up an area on their website where we can go and request specific recipes, make our shopping list and have food news sent to us through our cell phones.
I went online just to give it a try. I signed on to Epicurious' website and was pleasantly surprised on how simple it was to get started. You fill out just your basic information and then search the site for recipes that you would be interested in. I chose a steak recipe and requested that it be sent to my cell. Within a matter of seconds my new message tone was going off. The information is sent to your phone in the same manner as a text message. It then gave me four different options to chose from; My Recipes, Shopping List, Recipe Search and Menu of the Week. I was able to obtain clear instructions on how to prepare my steak dinner.
Cell phones are such a huge part of our lives now; we take them everywhere we go. This is the perfect way to help us out that much more. Imagine, no more searching through our cookbooks before we leave home to go to the store. No more angry moments when you realize that you have forgotten your shopping list. Everything is obtainable at the blink of an eye through our phones.
