Sell your current phone and purchase a Bluetooth enabled phone! Many people have made the unfortunate mistake of purchasing a Bluetooth adapter for their non-Bluetooth phone in hopes it will give them the same freedom other wireless headset users enjoy.
This sadly, in my opinion is not the case. Most users have found that the adapters are expensive, bulky, cumbersome to use and often don't perform as advertised. Not to mention that you will not be able to experience all of the other connectivity features a Bluetooth enabled phone offers.
Why would anyone want to use an adapter that sometimes can be bigger than the phone itself? When the adapter is connected to the phone you are not going to be able to use most phone cradles or mounts. This means you will have to resort to leaving the phone on the seat of the car or in your pocket, either way it makes it very difficult to use the most important feature of any phone on the market today ? Caller ID! Honestly, who answers a phone without screening the caller? Not me ;-)
It just doesn't make sense not to just sell your current phone to someone who could care less about Bluetooth and use the extra money you saved from not purchasing a useless adapter and get yourself the phone that meets your needs. You might as well get the best phone in or even slightly out of your budget if thats what it takes to be happy. Think about how much you are using your phone and then decide what it is worth to not be inconvenienced every time you use your cell phone.
