Samsung ATIV Book 7 Quick Review

The Ultrabook segment has been heating up lately as every manufacturer works to pack as much as they can inside these tiny notebooks. One of the most well-known members of this product segment is Apple's MacBook Air, which is priced at $999 and delivers all-day battery life and enough computing power to get you through some intensive tasks. But if you look at the Windows world, what do you see? There are devices from the likes of Asus, Lenovo, and others, including this Samsung.

Samsung recently launched a new line of Windows 8-powered notebooks known as ATIV Books that consist of tablets and computers that primarily use flash storage and touchscreen displays. Running the touch-optimized Windows 8 is great on tablet hardware, but does the OS still work as well when your display is permanently fixed like it is on a notebook?
