PhoneDog in 2015 - Thank you for the memories!

PhoneDog has covered a lot of technology in 2015. We started the year at CES 2015 in Las Vegas covering the Tesla Model X, LG G Flex 2 and BLU Vivo Air among many other devices. In February, we finished up our coverage of the Nexus 6 and began covering the Dell Venue 8700 and we started discussing the upcoming HTC One M9 and Galaxy S6. In March, Cam traveled to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and covered a wide range of devices like the HTC One M9, Galaxy S6, Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3, Sony Xperia Z4, and gave us our first glimpse at the Huawei Watch.

In April, we were finally able to get our hands on the HTC One M9 and Galaxy S6. This was also the month the Apple Watch and 2015 MacBook shipped. Towards the end of the month and well into May, the LG coverage began to spread. LG released their flagship LG G4 and LG Watch Urbane running Android Wear version 5.1.1.

At the halfway point of the year, we published our reviews of devices like ASUS ZenFone 2, Huawei P8, BlackBerry Leap and Amazon Echo. The next month, we packed 500,000 subscribers on YouTube, Apple launched their music service dubbed Apple Music and their new service dubbed Apple News. They even launched new iPods including the 6th Generation Apple iPod Touch.

The month of July didn't slow down at all. Windows 10 launched and the OnePlus 2 and the Moto G (3rd Gen.) shipped. In August, we were at the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and Note 5 launch event where we got our hands on at the devices. August is also the month where we gave you an overview of the final developer preview of Android Marshmallow. With the launch of the new Galaxy Note devices, we covered the new Samsung Gear S2 and S2 Classic as well as the new Galaxy Tab S2 tablet in September. Sony also surprised us with the Xperia Z5 Premium, a smartphone with a 4K resolution display. Apple gave us the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus while Google continued to leak details of their upcoming flagships which launched a month later.

In October, we featured the LG Nexus 5X, the Huawei Nexus 6P, the Moto 360 (2015 edition), the Droid Turbo 2, Droid Maxx 2, HTC One A9, 2015 Chromecast, and even the DJI Phantom 3 drone. At this point, the technology industry was in full swing and only continued to get busier. We unboxed the Surface Pro 4 from Microsoft, LG V10, OnePlus X, iPad Pro, BlackBerry Priv, and LG G Vista 2 in November. This past month, we continued to cover the Microsoft Lumia 950, Google Pixel C tablet, and Moto 360 Sport.

We have covered a lot of devices this past year on YouTube. The list goes on and on. This list does not even include the various reviews, rumors, leaks, and general informative posts in article form on PhoneDog.com and the PhoneDog social media sites from the incredibly knowledgeable editorial team we have. We did lose a very talented editor midway through the year, Cam Bunton. Cam, if you're watching, we all miss you, we all hope you're doing well. And we couldn't really have reached all these milestones this past year without you, as well as the many other talented editors from the past 7 years.

2015 has been an incredible year. It's been an incredible year full of all sorts of incredible groundbreaking technologies. The point of this video, in all honesty, is honestly a tribute to you, the viewer; who has really invested your time and your energy to watch and read all of the content we have produced. As a YouTube binge watcher and information seeker myself, I always find it a little bit cheesy how YouTube producers upload videos thanking their viewers for watching their content. But I think we'd rather come across as being cheesy than ungrateful. And we say that we are truly grateful for all the support this past year. Honestly, without you engaging in our content, we wouldn't be able to do what we do to support ourselves by doing something we all love.

So from myself, Marco, the editorial team on PhoneDog as well as everybody else behind the scenes who are not in front of the camera, we thank you. We look forward to the next year of technology. We all hope you have a safe and jolly holiday season.
