There's some good news today for T-Mobile customers that are in the market for a new smartphone, as a new rumor claims that the big magenta operator will soon widen the availability of two of its newest smartphones. Our pals at TmoNews have learned that T-Mobile will launch the BlackBerry Q10 to consumers on June 5. The Q10 was made available to T-Mobile business customers at the end of April, but so far T-Mobile has remained silent on its plans for a public launch. T-Mobile has said that the keyboard-equipped Q10 will be sold with a down payment of $99.99 and 24 monthly payments of $20 apiece.
In addition to the HTC One, TmoNews reports that T-Mobile is planning to roll the HTC One out to all of its stores across the nation on June 5 following an initial launch at approximately 300 stores in late April. The HTC One is currently being sold on T-Mobile's website for a $99.99 down payment along with 24 monthly payments of $20 each.
The BlackBerry Q10 and HTC One are two of the more hotly-anticipated smartphones of the year, and so it's good to see that it may not be long before more T-Mobile customers are able to get their mitts on them. While this news isn't quite official just yet, it lines up with previous information that we've gotten on both devices: T-Mobile recently confirmed that its consumer Q10 launch would be going down in June, and HTC has said that production of the One would be doubling in May and increasing further in June to meet demand. If you're a T-Mobile customer that's interested in either device, now may be a good time to start gathering your pennies.
