BlackBerry 10.1 may still be piping hot after its recent removal from BlackBerry's ovens, but that doesn't mean that the company isn't hard at work on BlackBerry 10.2. CrackBerry notes that Michael Clewley, product manager at BlackBerry, recently took to his shiny new BBM Channel to tease some of the new features that are coming with the BlackBerry 10.2 update. According to Clewley, the 10.2 update will bring it it the ability to set a time for a Remember item, support for standard unicode emojis, multiple alarms and level 1 notifications.
If Clewley's teasing has got you pounding on the "Check for Updates" button on your BlackBerry 10 device, well, hold your horses. The first beta for the BlackBerry 10.2 SDK isn't expected to arrive until next month, but the good news is that Clewley has said that the actual BB10.2 update is expected to begin rolling out later this year. Meanwhile, existing BlackBerry 10 users that haven't yet updated to BB10.1 still have that to look forward to, with the update expected to begin rolling out soon from U.S. carriers. How many of you are currently using a BlackBerry 10 device as your daily driver?
