Everyone is recycling and buying hybrid cars lately in an attempt to be more friendly to the environment, but one thing that people rarely realize is that there are also eco-friendly cell phones available.  Samsung has released a few green phones in the past, and their newest device, the Restore, is set to be released on Sprint this Sunday, June 6th.  The Restore will be available for $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and with a two year contract and includes a sliding QWERTY keyboard, Energy Star 2.0-compliant charger, 2 megapixel camera, and microSD card expansion all the way up to 32 GB.  Also, the phone's casing is made from 24 percent post-consumer recycled plastic and 84 percent of the entire handset is made from recyclable materials.  The device is available in the colors "midnight" and "limeade," and is sure to appeal to texting-addicted teens and those who are looking to help out the environment.  As we become more and more of an eco-friendly society, we'll certainly be seeing more and more of these recycled handsets on the market.  Always be sure to sell or recycle your old phones and electronics when you move on to a new device to do your part.  Have any of you recycled your old phones in the past?
