Well, it looks like the FCC gods have spoken once again, granting not one, but two BlackBerry devices their official approval. Not more than an hour (or two) ago, both variants (20-key condensed QWERTY and 14-key traditional) of the BlackBerry Pearl 3G showed their pretty little faces on one convenient filing. The filings reveal that the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 and 9105 have been cleared on WCDMA Bands II and V, which means we're looking at the AT&T variants in the US, and Telus, Rogers, and Bell for our Canadian friends.
The original Pearl seemed to have quite the little following, and you can bet that Pearl fans (who are probably beyond ready to upgrade by now) will be excited that their little friend will now be ready for 3G speeds. Here's a little reminder of some of the specs for the two devices:
