Verizon Service

The good: Service in most all areas. Good plan, 450 minutes, no roaming.The bad: You have to read ALL Verizon bills. I have been over charged twice so far, and have spents hours getting a refund. One refund was over $100.Summary: Verizon has the best coverage I could find. Customer service is poor, and you have to use all your patience skills to correct any issues. Just keep asking for the supervisor, then their supervisor will help until your issues are resolved.

Good service

The good: good coverage, good price and valueThe bad: can't download third party ringtonesSummary: I have been a customer for a little while and so far I have found no problems thus far. I have had no dropped calls, I get good reception in my house, and the connections are pretty clear. The only thing I DON'T like is the fact that I can't download ringtones from third party companies to my phone. I wish I could because they'd be a lot cheaper. 3 Dollars for one ringtone is a bit ridiculous. But other than that, Verizon is a good company and I would recommend it.

The good: good regional coveragelots of other subscribers (free calls with-in subscriber base)The bad: difficult customer servicedrops calls pretty often (in the city)Summary: this wireless phone service works over a large travel area, so that is really nice because I have to drive around a lot. It seems to drop calls in the city--when there are lots of large buildings nearby. I love that you can call any other verizon subscriber for free, but charge you if you want to change your service level, or heaven forbid, change the primary account holder. I have tried 3 times to do this, and they still are not giving access to the person i want to pay our bills!

Verizon is better than most

The good: Gets signal where most others don'tThe bad: noneSummary: I had Sprint here in Bremerton and the signal level was just awful. The reason I had Sprint originally was because I had a contract with it before I relocated. Once the contract expired I switched to Verizon because of various recomendations I recieved. The signal level is far superior than that of Sprint and in many places where I could not get a Sprint signal, I am able to get 2 to 3 bars with Verizon.

The good: nationwide The bad: sometimes in small towns or big department stores , i get a lost signalSummary: Overall , verizon wireless is great! can improve on lost signal in remote areas , but i think verizon is great otherwise

reception in Columbia Highway area

The good: you can receive a callThe bad: you will always get cut offSummary: The reception in the Pulaski area is fairly good.However, when you travel north on the Columbia Highway,there is little or no reception with Verizon wireless.My sister has service through Cingular and her reception is much better in the same area.

The good: Better coverage, no roaming, and ample minutes. The bad: still no reception in remote areasSummary: Overall, much better plans, minutes, and coverage for the money than Cellular One had for our area and the states we travel through and to. I'll never go back!!!

The good: Close to a store wherever I amThe bad: Lose alot of calls.Summary: Signal strength seems to be an issue. Depending what town I am in(I'm a truck driver), depends on how strong my signal is. Sometimes it's non-existent. Even in my kitchen I lose the signal.
