Aggrevated

Posted on: August 23rd, 2006 by Christy Douglas

The good: T-mobile is good if you have friends and family who also have their service because you can talk without using your minutes. Some other companies do this also. The bad: Lately, I have cursed my phone more than ever. It drops calls all the time, sometimes it won't even connect. I can't get service where it used to be fine.Summary: Supposedly they are putting up more towers locally and that will improve reception. If it is not any better by the end of my contract, I will be switching to Verizon or Cingular.

T-mobile is mostly reliable

Posted on: August 22nd, 2006 by Milcah S

The good: Usually quite reliable. Pretty good experience with their customer service. Call anyone with T-mobile anytime for no extra charge. Nice clear communication. The bad: Sometimes service goes out and won't come back for hours. Night-time minutes start at 9.Summary: Well, for the most part the service is reliable. What gets quite annoying, though, is that every once in a while it's next to impossible to get a signal. I don't know what causes it, but we usually use it at home and it works fine, but sometimes out of the blue, you can get nothing and this can last for hours. You can drive around all you want. You just have to wait until it's ready. I also wish the night-time minutes could start at 7 o'clock like sprint.

Great Service

Posted on: August 22nd, 2006 by kenneth fix

The good: great phone support fast no waiting, unlimited texting picture messages for 19.95The bad: limited amount of ring tones you can purchase through t-zonesSummary: Over all great cell phone service. I am currently signed up for a family plan with unlimited texting for just 19.95 and it covers all three phones, much cheaper than I've seen other services offer ... total bill a month for 3 phones is less than 100.00 and received 3 free flip phones.

The good: AWESOME customer service. Very little dropped calls. competitive prices when you buy a new phone. BEST minutes for the price. The bad: Cost of roaming internationallySummary: T-Mobile is the best carrier I have ever had. They are very friendly when you call and you can tell they care about their customers.

Bad Coverage on Purdue Campus

Posted on: August 22nd, 2006 by Anonymous

The good: Excellent coverage on Interstates and big cities. The bad: Has very bad coverage at Purdue Campus, West Lafayette, IN. If other service providers can provide better service in the same area, why can't T-Mobile do the same?Summary: T-Mobile has good coverage, affordable rate plans and good customer service. Check coverage in your area before choosing T-Mobile over other service providers though. If you live in a big city, I would recommend using T-Mobile.

Great Prices, but Some dropped calls

Posted on: August 22nd, 2006 by Mary Peters

The good: excellent pricesThe bad: occasional dropped callsSummary: I have been tempted to switch from T-Mobile (which I have had for over 3 years), but I can never get myself to - because they have the best prices. I have some of my calls dropped which is annoying, but I think I'm willing to deal with that to not have to pay crazy dollars for another company.

T-Mobile

Posted on: August 21st, 2006 by RHONDA FRIX

The good: Local service is greatThe bad: When traveling I lose signal ofter around Knoxville which is a popular city in TNSummary: I love my service at home but I would like to have the security of knowing that while on the interstate, my signal is strong. I travel often to the Knowxville area.

T-mobile can do better

Posted on: August 21st, 2006 by John Pevsner

The good: lots of minutes and good prices availableThe bad: Has many deadzones, especially when traveling and inside buildings.Summary: Although T-mobile has a good overall plan and with affordable prices, it does have its drawbacks. Need to be patient because of bad service with many deadzones when traveling and moving within office buildings especially with thick walls.

T-mobile service works great for me here in Iowa!

Posted on: August 19th, 2006 by Hong Li

The good: Good signal in most of the areas. Cell phone plan is one of the cheapest in the country as far as I know. Good customer service. Offer new cell phones for new plan activation. The bad: Difficult to get through the customer service line to talk to a real person. Not very good signal in the basement.Summary: We have had family plan with T-mobile for 2 years and are quite satisfied so far. Their family plan is one of the cheapest compared to other carriers in the nation. The signal is overall good enough for us here in Ames,Iowa, except in the basement. Customer service is good, and their website is very nice too. I am planning to keep my family plan, which is only $59.99/month, for 700mins any time, and unlimited nights and weekends. It is a great deal!
