T-Mobile

Posted on: October 10th, 2006 by Lisa Sokolowski

The good: Good service, family planThe bad: Dead in my apartmentSummary: T-Mobile is a really good carrier. I like that I don't use any minutes to check my voice mail, and I have a family plan, so it's free to call anyone who also has T-Mobile. I do hit a few dead zones when I go up Route 309, but overall, I have really good service. I hardly get any in my apartment though, which is annoying. The customer service is 24/7, and I love that.

Dissatisfied with customer service

Posted on: October 9th, 2006 by Renee Castillo

Ordered a new phone online, even signed up for a 2 year contract to receive a discount on phone, and I never received it after 2 1/2 weeks of calls, etc, no one ever tried to track it. Was given a real run around about what was going on. TMobile blamed UPS, who they pay to deliver phone. And as I explained to them, I pay T Mobile, they pay UPS, hence it is their problem and they have not taken care of it. UPS even guaranteed delivery on the phone one day to myself and a TMobile rep. Suprisingly, I was the only one upset when the promise was not carried out. TMobile must have a good customer base because they were very apologetic, but unwilling to offer me any type of consolation, TMobile would not work with me about giving me free minutes, phone, etc. as a consolation. I canceled after 3 years of doing business with them.

T-Mobile Service

Posted on: October 9th, 2006 by Joni Vennell

The good: The t-mobile staff is always friendly. They have the best rates in the market by far!The bad: Under my plan, I have free long distance but have roaming charges? I don't get it! From my area, I can call my mom for free but have roaming charges still? Summary: Overall, at T-mobile you can get the best deal for your buck but watch your minutes! Your bill adds up quicker than quick. Other than that I wouldn't switch over to any company.

The good: Friendly/flexible customer serviceThe bad: To upgrade to a new phone, not only do you have to pay, you have to sign a new contractSummary: I've not had any problems with T-mobile. Customer service will go out of their way to help me. I've even been given free extra minutes for going slightly over on my plan.

Area coverage is awful

Posted on: October 7th, 2006 by Tamara Hayes

The good: good plansThe bad: horrible coverage in my area, can't even use my phone in my house!Summary: I would not ever use T Mobile again if I could get out of my contract! I have no coverage and do not have the option of picking up the Cingular signal that is available here.

Great Prices

Posted on: October 7th, 2006 by Dora Patterson

The good: Offer good plans for family or individual use. Have good prices on text messaging. Offer free phones with contract and discounts on popular cell phones. The bad: Tell you tax is not that high, when actually it is. When traveling out of town there are some areas where you don't have any signal.Summary: T-mobile offers very good prices for peak minutes. They have good plans for family or for individual use. They also affer very good deals for text messaging. However when traveling you may encounter problems with no signal. Tax on their plans is quite high.

T-mobile

Posted on: October 7th, 2006 by Chhayal Pansuria

The good: T-mobile service is good. The bad: t-mobile service is good but it only work out side of the house. maby network signals is not good.Summary: The original Sidekick arrived to much anticipation in October 2002. It was the first consumer-oriented mobile device that combined PDA and phone features along with e-mail and messaging. Even better, all of this was packaged in a very cool, innovative case. Less than two years later, the device receives its second upgrade: The T-Mobile Sidekick II (manufactured by Sharp) adds a built-in camera while enhancing e-mail, IM, calendar, and phone capabilities.
