Satisfactory

Posted on: October 31st, 2006 by Jeremy Truong

The good: Always clear.Great Service. The bad: 1/10 places has no signalSummary: T-mobile has great plans with just the right price. They used to be the best in signal, but a lot of carriers are beating them. They would be even greater with roll-over, but too bad. I recommend this for a business person who want a great deal. I wouldn't recommend this carrier for anybody with specific expectations.

The good: good serviceThe bad: noneSummary: i work in a phone company. but yea lets get to the point, i been with t-mobile for 6 years now and i have use many different kind phones. some has bad reception some has good depending on location/place. GSM has the worst reception but the phone has good feature, so you gained a lil n lose a lil... but yea people keep saying the company service but its not that. its your phone if you dont believe me go use a Samsung E105 the reception is superb. the older the phone model the better the reception IMO. thanks

STAY AWAY

Posted on: October 27th, 2006 by Janet Zhou

The good: Cheap, but you get what you pay for.The bad: Unhelpful customer service, inflexible company, terrible coverage.Summary: Inflexible, unhelpful, they are simply out to get whatever $ from you.I wanted to change which credit card the automatic pay should go, so I called to discuss with customer service. They told me I could change it online, so I decided to do that on 9/13. On 10/11, TMobile charge the payment to the old credit card on file because apparently, my billing cycle closed on 10/11, and my changes were 2 days too late. Even though I called to ask about the change before I made it, the customer service rep never said anything about that. And I was *warned* online through fine prints. This resulted in a $40 over the limit charge on my credit card. I called again afterwards to ask if they could just refund my 1st credit card and immediately charge everything onto another credit card, I was told "There's simply NO WAY I could do that."Another incident completely unrelated, I have had TMobile for over 2 years and paid hundreds of dollars to them, all on time. I was late 10 days once because of a stolen credit card, they refuse to remove the $5 late fee. Hope they are enjoying that $5.On top of all that, the coverage STINKS! I get "Network Failure" in the middle of calls. I get no signal many, many times when my friends have signal with other networks. If I didn't have this cursed contract, I'd drop the company before I could blink. DON'T get TMobile!!!!

T-Mobile

The good: One of the few cell phone carriers that I can receive signal at my home. The bad: Customer service is hit or missSummary: T-moblie is one of the few cell phone carriers that I can receive signal must of time at my home. I have had to contact customer service a few time and every so often you find a real diamond but sad to report most reps are lumps of coal.

T-Mobile... The company dependant on Cellular One

Posted on: October 24th, 2006 by Anonymous

The good: Affordable family plans, easy approval even with past bad credit history, friendly customer care representatives. The bad: Often lose signal, end up "roaming" and using Cellular One towers while traveling within the same city.Summary: T-Mobile seemed like a great company. They are well know, and approval for service was easy. My husband and I filed for bankruptcy several years ago, and it continues to "haunt" us when applying for credit. However, the service of T-Mobile is not very dependable. Even while traveling short distances in my area, we lose a signal. Other times, a signal is available-- from Cellular One's towers! Although roaming is included with our plan so we're not paying anything extra for it, it's an inconvenience. We have to dial the area code while roaming in order to make a call. We have no access to our voicemail while roaming. Overall, I would not recomment T-Mobile to others in my area because of poor reception.

They Did it

Posted on: October 18th, 2006 by Daniel Baleckaitis

The good: Cheaper plan, great reception, good customer serviceThe bad: Limited phone choicesSummary: I have had T-mobile for almost one year now and am very impressed. I seem to be the only one that gets reception in the building's basement unlike my previous provider (Sprint) and other people's (Cingular, U.S. Cell.) Customer service has been very responsive and I am just happy.

T-Mobile service

Posted on: October 17th, 2006 by i tryer

The good: I really like the minutes/price plan selections. We chose one that works well for our needs. The bad: There are a lot of "dead" areas, where we are so the phone will cut out or we won't have reception at all.Summary: For the money and the amount of minutes we get with our plan, T-Mobile works well for us. Reception wise, our are is not that great. We can't use our cel inside our house and there are only a few areas in our yard where our phone will work.
