Sprint PCS in Southern WV

Posted on: October 17th, 2006 by David Holmes

The good: For the area it does ok, good in case of emergency. The bad: Dropped calls, not great reception.Summary: If you need a cell phone and are looking for nation wide service then sprint PCS is great, it provides unlimited nights and weekends, and nationwide is included, however there isn't that many towers in Southern WV and in these country settings you can forget about getting your calls out.

Sprint PCS

Posted on: October 17th, 2006 by Tina Bornheimer

The good: If you live in a big city this is a must have. Sprint PCS has so many offers.. great plans. If you search for them online you can find great, and I mean great plan rates. Sprint PCS has great customer care and takes care of any issues/questions you may have. Very reliable company. The bad: I have not found any cons with Sprint PCS in my 6 months in contract with them.Summary: Sprint PCS has incredible service in lots of areas, great plan pricing and customer service. Everything you get in your Sprint PCS package will make you a loyal Sprint PCS customer. I had to call about a question because the plan I found included free picture mail and they had to turn that on so I could use it, but customer service was very nice and took care of it right away.

Sprint has been good for us

Posted on: October 17th, 2006 by Karen Guest

The good: We are rarely without a signal. They also handle all billing and other questions professionally and with courtesy. The bad: I have a hard time keeping a signal inside of my house.Summary: All in all Sprint PCS is a good company. We have had a few things with our bill that they corrected immediately. We've been with them for 4 years and have been satisfied with the service. We've renewed our contaract more than once.

Posted on: October 14th, 2006 by Angel Burt

The good: Have been with Sprint for 9 years. The bad: Many, mostly due to poorly trained customer service staffSummary: So many things I could write about. If you ever have a promblem and call customer service I get a different answer with each person I speak to.Tell 6 people the same problem, you will get 6 different answers.I even had a manager at sprint tell me the staff was not properly trained!! That is so unprofessional!

Customer Service is a JOKE!

Posted on: October 10th, 2006 by Laurie Pitts

The good: for the most part the service has been good...few dropped callsThe bad: the customer service does definately need some drastic work Summary: i have had mostly good luck with my sprint service. but don't dare call customer service! they will change your billing even if you call for a simple question. they deleted text messeging & 7 oclock nights off one of our plans (which was a seasonal promo) and couldn't get the code for it. then they charge us $19.99 per call on spam that texted one of my phones 12 times in less than 15 minutes! they wouldn't work with us on reversing the charges cuz it was a 3rd party charge. i investigated on the web and this 3rd party had a website stating $19.99 PER MONTH.. NOT CALL and they still wouldn't reverse charges! so customer service in my eyes is very poor when they won't stick up for the customer even when they see it written out in black and white...more worried about the dollar they may lose.

coverage/dropped calls

Posted on: October 9th, 2006 by Beth Caplinger

The good: Works great inside a brick building. The bad: Drops calls frequently. No coverage in cerain areas of town. Goes into roamig all too often. Summary: Not enough cell towers in the USA. Calls drop frequently even when standing still. Phone goes into roam quite frequently in an area that used to be in local coverage area. In Lake County, Oh when on vacation, lost coverage as soon as I crossed the river into town. Near Lake Erie, I had to stand outside home in driveway, away from house, to receive a signal.
